Richmond Elementary School
Attendance Prizes
November, 2006
|

|

|

|
| The Salem Kiwanis Club provides two
bikes each year to Richmond Elementary School to be awarded to
two lucky students at the end of the school year. In order to be
placed into the bike drawing, students must achieve perfect
attendance. The bikes are displayed prominently in the cafeteria
through the year. We understand attendance is at an all-time
high! |

| Members of the Willamette University Circle K Club
went to Louisiana and helped with clean up efforts following the
2005 hurricanes. We are please that we were able to support their
efforts. They are fine examples of the young adults who align
themselves with Kiwanis International sponsored programs. We are
very proud of their efforts to help the people of Louisiana. |

Community Education Coordinator Gail Case told us how our support at
Richmond Elementary School has significantly improved student
attendance. Salem Kiwanis Club also contributes to
beautification/building projects, student mentoring and hosts an
annual Christmas Party with pizza and gifts for the children.
